Getting ready for the big day

Friday...
Ty and his co-workers dressed up as characters from "The Princess Bride"
Ian, Luke and I made cupcakes. We made almost 50 of them and then took them to my Mom's work and to Ty's work...we kept a couple for ourselves too.
When we got back from delivering the cupcakes, we decorated the front of our house with spider webs and a few spiders.

Saturday...
Ian and I went to Michaels in the morning with Jolene, Nathan and Teresa where we made braclets :P

When Ian and I got back from Michaels, we painted our little pumpkins.

Ian and Luke's

Ty and Mine

All of the pumpkins...all grown from our garden :P

That evening Ian and I went to Rollerama with Jon, Jolene, Nathan, Teresa, and Teresa's friend. Ian did an awesome job skating (this was his first time)...we only fell once.

Jack-O-Lanterns

Thursday night, my parents came over to carve pumpkins...

Luke loved pulling out the insides. He put the remains back inside the pumpkin a couple times so he could remove them again.

Ian, on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with the insides!!! He just wanted to carve.

Ian helping Ty light the pumpkins

Our pumpkins...

Mine, Ian, Luke and Ty's
*Best part was we didn't have to purchase any of the pumpkins...they were all grown from our garden. We have 5 more small ones, we grew, to paint (we're planning on doing that Saturday)

Saturday, we went to the Banducci Farm. Not to get any pumpkins (we grew our own :P), but to take some pictures and get lost in their corn maize.

Let's Celebrate

Last night, my Mom and I took Ian (as a special treat) to Disney on Ice. I was amazed at all the Disney characters Ian knew. He had such a great time. He was singing and dancing along with them. (there are more pictures on my Facebook page)
*Thanks to Clark Pest Control for letting us use the suite, as always, it was super-nice!!!

Up North

Last Monday, the boys and I headed up north to visit with family. We stayed Monday night with Jen and Alan then headed to Vacaville to stay the rest of the week with my Dad and Step-Mom's.

(My Dad enjoying a good book with the kids :P)

Wednesday, my Dad took the day off from work to take us into San Francisco to visit the zoo, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The kids really liked the zoo. Especially the tropical rain forest part...they got to catch and hold butterflies. The lion exibit was pretty cool too.

Friday, the kids and I met up with Jen in Sacramento. We decided to go to Fairytale Town. The kids had a blast. It was hard to peel them away from all the toys, but they eventually got hungry :P

Friday night we went to Chuck E Cheese with my Dad, Step-Mom, my sisters (Angela, Amy and Rebekah) their guys (Brian, Eddy and Chris) and my neice, Audrey .

Saturday, the boys and I headed back into Sacramento with my Dad, Step-Mom, Rebekah and Chris. Our first stop was the history museum.

And then the Train Museum

Sunday, we headed back home. We all had a great time and can not wait to do it again
