Trip to Oregon

We had a blast in Oregon.  So much to do and not enough time to squeeze it all in.  We hiked over 20miles in our 8 days there...and we could have done so much more!  Can't wait until next year to do it again :)

Birthday and a Baby Shower

Ian went up another level in Swim Class...he is now an Otter :)

We had a birthday party for Luke a few days before his actual Birthday.  Thank you to everyone! He loved all his gifts!

On his actual Birthday, we went out for Ice Cream.  He also got to open his gift from brother...a cool gun and 2 bow and arrows (one for Luke and one for Ian).

Last Sunday, we went to a baby shower for my cousin.  Baby Nixon will be here soon and we all cannot wait to meet him :)

Zoo

Sean and Serina invited us to tag along with their family to the zoo last Sunday.  We had a blast, as always.

The Past Month...

So...there was Valentine's Day
Ian wanted to make his Valentine's Cards this year, they turned out pretty cute.
There was also a Valentine's Mailbox Contest.  Ian's Monster box didn't win, but we had a lot of fun making  it.
Each of his classmates wrote a compliment for Ian and his teacher put them all on a huge heart (which is now hanging in his playroom)

Then, Feb. 26th Luke Moved up in swimming.  He is now taking Gymnastics too :)

March 1st, for Dr. Seuss' Birthday the 1st graders had "crazy hat" day. Ian's was a big hit (and once again, very fun to make).

March 4th, Ian's first book report was due.  He had to read a story, make flashcards, bring items that described the book, and color the outside of a container that would hold the flashcards and the items.  He then had to do an oral presentation to his class.
