Blushing Bride to Be

Sunday, my Mom and I took the boys to Hesperia for my cousin Casey's Bridal Shower. It was really hot, but we still managed to have fun.

After the party we went to Darrell's house . He was at work so we decided to go see him, oh and have dinner (mmm Roadhouse).

Kern County Fair

We went to the Great Kern County Fair today...

We went and visited a friend at her lego booth (which was awesome). Then we went and played with the free stuff in the children's section, Ian loves the bubbles there.

After that, we watched a mini-circus then we checked out the animals. One of the pigs snorted at Ian, he thought that was pretty funny and snorted back.

Next it was off to the animal races.

Before we left, we let Ian pick out a couple rides to ride. The first thing he wanted to ride was the "BIG" Ferris wheel...we decided he should start with the small one. Ty went with him and he loved it. Next he went on the train, all by himself. After that, Ian and I went on the spinning things, which he wanted to ride again.

We're not sure if Luke got much enjoyment out of the fair, it was pretty hot, but he didn't complain much.

Picnic Lunch

Yesterday, the boys and I picked Ty up from work for a lunch picnic at the park.

Luke went on the slides for the first time.

6mo's and growing

Today Luke is 6months old. He is 27 inches long, weighs a little over 16lbs and has 5.5 teeth. He can crawl forward a few inches before he gets frustrated and starts going backwards. He can sit up but needs help getting there. Luke's also starting to pull himself up on his own. And he would rather play with Ian's toys than his.

Summer Nights

Luke's been having trouble getting sleep lately...he's getting 4 teeth (all on the top). 1 is completely out. Two have cut threw a bit, but still have more to go. And the last one is there, gums swollen and ready to go, but hasn't poked threw yet. This is how he finally fell asleep yesterday (Saturday night).

Tonight was especially nice out, so we decided to go for a walk. Ian wanted to ride his new bike he got for his Birthday, and I wanted to try out the new rollerblades I got 3months ago.

Fun in the Sun

The boys and I left with my parents on Thursday for Cottonwood Cove, NV. We had a great time on our mini-vacation, and didn't want to leave on Tuesday but we were missing Ty.

Luke got 2 new teeth while we were there, with 2 more coming soon

Ian turns 3...and oh what a weekend

Friday was a very eventful day. Ian woke up to blue balloons on his bedroom floor. Ty and I heard Ian whisper a few words and then we heard a long "WOW" when he saw the Happy Birthday Banners in the living room. After Ty went to work, they boys and I got ready to go to the "Wild Child Center" (a bounce house place for kids) and to lunch with Jolene and Nathan.

Later that evening, when Ty got home from work, met up with my parents at Baskin Robbins for a little Ice Cream party. After the ice cream, Ian got to go home with my parents for a sleepover.

As Ty and I were driving home from Ice Cream, we got a call from Sean...Serina was in labor and about to give birth at any moment. We turned the car around and headed for the hospital. We got there in time to wish Sean and Serina the best and then we headed to the waiting room anxiously awaiting the baby's arrival . (sorry we don't have any pictures of him, but if you would like to see him check out Sean and Serina's site) Ryan Jackson Perry made his debut 8-28-09 at 9:33pm.

Luke was very tired the next morning. We let him sleep in while Ty and I put the finishing touches on Ian's party.

Ian's birthday party was a huge success...

And the cake was a success, too!
