Ian's 6th Birthdays

Ian was really spoiled for his birthday this year...
Because of when his Birthday fell (super-close to the beginning of school), he got 2 parties.
Last Saturday we had a family party for him at the pool house (a special thanks to Don and Aggie for helping us get the spot).  We swam, opened gifts and had yummy cupcakes.
For Ian's actual Birthday on Tuesday, we took him out for ice cream at Baskin Robbins (it's become a tradition with us to go out for Birthday Ice Cream).  We had to rush because it was also his back to school night, and lets just say 1st grade is not all fun and games!!!

Thursday, after school, we threw Ian another party for his school friends.
Ian wanted the theme for his party to be SUPERHEROS.
Ty and I made the invitations complete with masks.
We transformed our house into the Hall of Justice complete with Bank and hanging signs.
When the kids arrived, they were able to make their own super capes.  Afterwards, they had hot dogs and a little fun before coming inside to open gifts.  Unfortunately, when they all came inside this is what they found...
Yep, a not from the bad guy, letting them know he took all the gifts...
Ian did a great job defeating the evil Loki...All the kids were Super impressed with Ian's skills.
Finally...gift time.  Ian got a lot of cool new toys (I'd love to post them all here, but there'd be too many).  So I posted my favorite, from his friend "A", money in a tissue box!  After all the gifts were opened, we had Birthday Cupcakes, then the kids found another note from the "Bad GUY"
Oh no!!! He robbed the bank (but I thought he died, guess not)!  The kids were able to successfully find all the money Loki stole from the bank and they got a nice reward for returning it all...CANDY!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN...hope your 6th Birthday was SUPER FUN!!!
Thank you all the family members and friends that were able to share in Ian's Special Days.  And thank you for all his SUPER Awesome GIFTS...
Until Next Year!
