Swing Set: Day 10

Sunday Corey came over and we worked all day on the swing set.

Handy Manny even helped a little

Ian helped make every one snow cones (in a cup). Luke loved picking up all the tools.

When we were done for the day, we had finished the bridge, the base on the second fort and we started on the railing.

Sequoia Saturday!

Saturday, we went to Sequoia Nat'l Park with Jon, Jolene, Teresa and Nathan.

We stopped to have lunch shortly after entering the park. Then we headed to see the "Big Trees"

We weren't expecting the snow to be as thick as it was...

but we had a great time playing in it :)

Swing Set: Day 8 and 9

Day 8: Monday 4-19

One set of stairs done and started the bridge

Also finished filling in the post holes with concrete :)

Day 9: Friday April 23rd

(there was a lot of rain this week so we couldn't work on it Tues-Thurs.)

We got the other stairs started and a little more of the bridge done

Luke's 1st Cut

We took Luke to get his 1st hair cut by my friend, Erika, at Great Clips yesterday. He did a great job! He just sat there very still and ate his sucker.

Swing Set-Day 6 & 7

Day 6-Saturday we didn't have much time to work on the Swing Set (Ty went and played airsoft with his friends in the morning and I went bowling and out to dinner with my friends). We did manage to get the dirt piles around the swing set moved and the grass around the broken sprinkler pipe back down.

Day 7-Sunday

We got a lot more accomplished on Sunday. We got all the bolts and screws in on the first fort and Corey and Ty got some of the steps done for the bridge. Ian and Luke got a chance to sit on the fort for a while...they really liked it. Luke kept pointing at all the cars and buildings. Jaina even wanted up.

Swing Set- Day 4&5

We worked a little on the swing set Wednesday and Thursday after Ty got home from work. My parents to help. Corey came over, too. We only had a couple hours to work on the swing set before it got dark.

Swing set- Day 3

We didn't get to work on the swing set at all on Monday due to the rain. But that didn't stop us from working on it yesterday.

So far we have the bridge base up and the bases for both forts up and cemented in.
