CALM

We went to the California Living Museum last Sunday with a friend and her oldest. It's been a while since Ty and I were there (Teresa's 6th Birthday Party). Both boys had a great time. Ian loved seeing the animals and Luke got a kick out of them licking his hands :)

New pictures

Who knew we lived that close to the mountains.

We had a huge double rainbow in our backyard. I had to take 3 pictures just to get all of the lower rainbow...if you look close you can see the other rainbow above it.

Bakersfield is like a new city after the rain.

Rainy Days

This was taken about 30min ago in our back yard. Ian and Luke had fun playing in the rain. I stayed dry and a little warmer under the patio, the bug was doing the same :)

Some of the pictures turned out a little red, but other than that (and the fact that the kids wouldn't sit still long enough) the bounce flash worked great! It's amazing what a little aluminum foil will do :)

Picking a fight

Last night, while on the way home from picking up some movies at the movies store, Luke was a bit tired and yelled a couple times, Ian then said something to Luke that made me laugh. Ty asked what he had said, so I told him he said 'Luke you need to be quiet so the trees don't come to life and start throwing apples at us'...I think he's been watching too much Wizard of OZ!
