We went to Ventura Beach on Saturday with Jon, Jo, Teresa, Nathan, Sean and Serina. It was a beautiful day...not too hot, not to windy. Luke took a long nap in the tent we brought. Ty swam out to the end of the swim beach. Ian made friends with a little girl. And I relaxed a bit. We headed home around 5 and stopped off in Fillmore for dinner at the IHOP

What happened to the huge waves that I remember? I just finished telling Chris' family about 10 ft. waves on the Pacific and then I see this - those are smaller than the Atlantic! Looks great for the kids though.
We couldn't swim where the waves were, there were riptides :(
We went to the swim beach in the marina area.
