Mother's Day Weekend

We had a very busy Mother's Day weekend...

Saturday morning we slept in and then worked on the back yard a little. In the afternoon, we went to Hart Park and went for a walk.

Saturday evening, we went to Chuck E Cheese. Ian had a blast on the rides, Luke loved the pizza (he didn't like the rides very much)

I had a great Mother's Day. In the morning, Ty and the boys let me sleep in...they went out to get donuts. And they were so good. Then my sister's and I took my Mom to the movies. We went and saw "The Back-Up Plan"

That afternoon, we went to the Curtis' house for Mother's Day lunch. The food and the company were great.

Then we left for Tehachapi. We had a wonderful time visiting and were so happy to see Shane, Brooke and their kids (it's been almost 4 years since the last time we saw them)!!!

Shane, Brooke and their kids came to our house to stay the night Monday. Ty took the day off and we spent the afternoon playing on the swing set (it's getting so much use), chatting and playing the Wii. Monday night, Jon and Jolene came over with Teresa and Nathan for dinner.

We had a great time with everyone!! And we all can't wait until Shane and Brooke live closer!

Ty and I woke up this morning to this song coming through the baby monitor.

Now what are we going to do?

So, we are done with the swing set...for now :)

Swing Set: Day 14 and 15...

So...we're almost done with the swing set...

We have 3 swings to put up and the ladder to finish tomorrow.

I'm not going to post the picture of it yet, you'll have to wait until tomorrow when we are done :)

Of course, we are not "finished" with the project completely. We will be adding, after Ian's Birthday: a fire pole, rock climb, enclosing in the bottom of one fort for a play house, and the bottom of the other fort will become a picnic table.
